How does voting work?
Register with your email, click the verification link, and you can vote support or oppose on any of the 145 bylaw sections. You can change or remove your vote at any time.
What data do you collect?
Just your email, a password hash, and your votes. No analytics, no trackers, no third-party cookies. Nothing is sold or shared.
How do I find my property zoning?
Search your address on the CVRD interactive webmap, note your zone code (e.g. R-1), then enter it in your profile so we show only the rules that affect you.
Is this an official CVRD service?
No. Ask Cowichan is an independent, citizen-led project with no political or commercial affiliation.
